Welcome to the 2009 - 2010 School Year I hope everyone had a great summer however mother nature seems to be giving us our summer weather in September. I am sure most children are ready to go back and see friends and most parents are glad to have a routine back again. Parents of children going to school for the first time are probably hesitant but after a couple of weeks dropping them off gets easier and the kids love going to be with their new found friends. This is my first year as President of SASC and I am excited to embark on this new journey. This year we are planning to hold some mini conferences around the province as well as holding our annual conference. I hope to meet new people at our conferences, it is a great opportunity to network with other SCC members and find out what is and is not working.
