We would like to make you aware of a major development affecting the future of the Saskatchewan Association of School Councils. The Province of Saskatchewan has decided to end its funding of SASC on March 31 2010. This is very disappointing news. It will severely limit our ability to continue the work we all believe is so important. We do not know exactly what our future looks like, except that our activities will be curtailed. We will spend the next while exploring the possibilities. We are committed to completing all projects in progress, and we are determined to continue to pursue our vision. SASC appreciates the support you have shown us, and we will keep you informed as we consider how best to continue.
